NAACP asks Boys & Girls Board of Directors to remove CEO

The Manatee County NAACP has called for the removal of the CEO of Manatee Boys & Girls Club for racist and offensive words used in an email to staff.  His email stated he will not hire anyone who meets the criteria below: 1. Boys with dreds 2. Teen age girls who had babies 3. College  drop outs 4. Anyone with tatooos, body piercing 5. Bradenton Housing Authority

The Bradenton Housing Authority is looking at hiring an executive director after abrupt removal of previous one by HUD.  I caution them to move slow in selecting a new director.  I am recommending they do a national search before entering a 1 year contract with interim director.  Interim simply standing in the gap until a new director is hired.
